About Samarthya Foundation
Samarthya Foundation for Special Education is a public charitable trust committed to advancing the education, rehabilitation, empowerment and social inclusion of children and persons with disabilities (Divyangjan).
We work with the belief that every individual, regardless of disability, deserves access to quality education, appropriate support, dignity, independence and equal opportunities to participate meaningfully in society.
Our initiatives focus on special and inclusive education, therapy and rehabilitation support, skill development, vocational empowerment, disability awareness, family guidance and community outreach. We also aim to connect individuals and families with relevant services, professional support and available Government welfare provisions wherever appropriate.
Through a person-centered and community-oriented approach, the Foundation strives to create an enabling environment in which children and adults with disabilities can develop their abilities, strengthen their confidence and move towards greater independence and self-reliance.
Our vision is to contribute to a truly inclusive society where persons with disabilities are respected for their abilities, supported according to their needs and empowered to realise their full potential.

Our Services
Special Education & Teacher Training:
To promote inclusive and special education through structured learning, teacher training and capacity-building initiatives. We aim to develop skilled educators and professionals to support children and persons with disabilities. Proposed Special Education programmes will be introduced subject to approval and recognition by the competent authorities.
Therapy & Rehabilitation:
To provide comprehensive rehabilitation support through Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, psychological support and other therapeutic interventions for children and persons with disabilities, including Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Disabilities.
Skill Development & Empowerment:
To empower youth, women and persons with disabilities through vocational training, computer education, life skills and livelihood-oriented programmes, helping them develop confidence, independence and opportunities for self-reliance.
